WebAug 5, 2013 · The 1928 season was the Cuban Stars’ last affiliated in the Eastern Colored League. They played in only seven “official” league games before dropping out of the league. Before the summer ended the league itself dissolved. The Stars’ record was 4-3 when they left the league. The Cuban Stars (East) were a team of professional baseball players from Cuba and other Latin American countries who competed in the Negro leagues in the eastern United States from 1916 to 1933.
